Titanic Museum
Belfast, Northern Ireland.
when visiting the museum in Belfast and ask "how is medium used as a message" in the Titanic i can say there lots of things to point out. first of all the museum is a very interactive a lot of multimedia has gone into it to make my experience and other people a very enjoyable and completely different experience than most other sorts of museum
when people first think of the titanic museum the think of an old place which just billboards and old movies talking about the historically event that happen but when you first see it totally different. it has this 21 century design outside and especially inside. the knowledge people have of titanic would probably be the ones the see in the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio but this information in this is always going to have false proof about what really happen ( you be happy to know that the play the Titanic theme song in the museum).
Also outside the museum it shows where the ship was actually made and shows the outline of the boat when walking down it i thought it would be a lot bigger than what i thought but that was the movie over doing it.
also there was a room that shows a film of the wreckage that really showed how the ship sunk into two parts but still this day it still well structure.
like Marshall said “medium that shapes and controls the scale and form of human association and actions.” which in this case it shows to the public how big it really is and other big facts about the sinking of the ship which people won't have known about when cause the all think it true what happens in the movies.
That's how the medium is used in the message.
